About

My name is Sloane, and I'm an artist and illustrator based in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. I study art, media studies and Spanish at Scripps College in California, where I will graduate in 2028. This year I plan to enhance my education by spending a year studying digital media and communication with CIEE in Seville, Spain, and fine art with la Universidad de la Republica in Montevideo, Uruguay.

I work primarily with oil, but you can often find me practicing plein air watercolor on a hike. My art endeavors to reflect the beauty of mountain living and advocate for environmental causes. My work has been shown at YVSC's Insight: Art for Climate Action in 2023, 2024, and 2026, Advocates The Art of Survival in 2023, and in a solo exhibition in Big Iron Coffee for First Friday Art Walk in 2024.

I am excited to announce the release of my debut illustration project, The Fastest Feeling, in collaboration with author Heidi Wehrly and the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club. The children's book will be available for purchase in November, 2026, and all profits will support the SSWSC.
